Shiva Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), Bilaspur (H.P.) is a self-financed technical institution established by Shiva Educational Society in 2009 with a mission to impart quality technical education. Presently the institute is offering 4-years undergraduate degree course in Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Electrical Engineering.

The Shiva group, started in 2006 by the vision of Mr. B.R. Sharma is already running a B.Ed. college viz. Shiva college of Education, Abdhanighat, Ghumarwin, Distt- Bilaspur (H.P.) since 2007. Now the group has established a state-of-the-art, first Engineering Institute in Distt. Bilaspur at village Luhnoo Kanatain, P.O. Chandpur, Teh. Sadar Distt. Bilaspur (HP). The institute is spread over more than 15 acres of lush green picturesque land in the scenic beauty of Dhauladhar mountain ranges and is 6 km. from Bilaspur town on Shimla-Dharmshala national highway.

The institute has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. The management is proactive and well aware of the need for value additional through a well defined system of education. SIET is headed by: Dr. A.Singh and a dedicated team of qualified and experienced faculty and staff.

Admission by Institute Management : 15% Seats

The admissions to all the seats shall be made on the basis of AIEEE merit subject to the condition that the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate. However, in case the seats are left vacant, the same shall be filled up on the bases of 10+2 merit.
