This year's organizers of the IIT-JEE - IIT Kanpur - have announced that candidates appearing in the test this year will be able to see their marked answer books on the JEE website. The answer sheet will be accessible only to a particular candidate through a password. About 4.5 lakh candidates are likely to participate in the JEE examination this year.

"These much needed changes will restore students' faith in the examination which has been dogged by controversies since 2006," Anand, founder of Super 30 in Patna, said here on Sunday.

"Earlier, only successful students used to receive marks. Now all of them will get it, which will make things more transparent," said Anand who had last year requested Kapil Sibal to give an additional chance to rural students writing IIT-JEE. "I hope the Union HRD minister will also consider this request," he added.
