Regional Institute of Science & Technology (RIST) is located in natural ambiance and provides a perfect platform for intellectual growth and nurture students with better understanding. RIST carries all the necessary statutory and regulatory approval/affiliation.RIST is situated on a picturesque hill in 9th Mile, Killing Road, Opposite CRPF Group Centre, Ri Bhoi District, Baridua, Meghalaya. It is also well connected to the rest of India by road, air and railway & only 6 km from the capital of Assam, Dispur and 85 km from the Capital of Meghalaya, Shillong.
The campus is 15 km from Guwahati Railway station, 40 km from LGBI Airport, Guwahati. The campus is spread over an area of 16 acres, aptly named as Techno City. The Foundation is also acquiring additional 400 acres of land to develop the University nearby the RIST.
